The oops that wasn't

So the hubby is in one of his creative moods and brings in this bowl that he's about to toss cause the design didn't come out right. He points out all the flaws where it didn't line up and what not. I didn't pay much attention cause I was busy hyperventilating that he would toss this bowl that I so wanted. It's perfect for yarn balls. The right weight and I loved the  gorgeous colors.

He did whatever it is that he does and put in a couple of slices and holes so that I can thread the yarn through. It is so perfect that it makes me want to knit another sock monkey hat.

The bowl was saved to live a long and wonderful life holding yarn, yarn, and more yarn.

I love that bowl! How dare you poke holes in it! So much freedom and individuality expressed in the design and the pattern.
